The first day's reception took place in this aquarium.

 

The conference meeting focus was on solar panels.

 

Much discussion related to solar panel installations.

Granting of the Awards of the IFD 2013

From the IFD website: "On Friday evening a festive Gala evening took place with more than 140 participants in the large hall of the SS Rotterdam in Rotterdam. This opportunity was used to grant the Awards of the IFD 2013 as the highlight of the evening. The competition for special and exceptional performance of member contractors in the last two years in the categories pitched roof, flat roof, metal roof and facade had been written out in spring of this year. The competition received a pleasantly good reception. The submitted objects showed outstanding achievements of the roofers. 16 objects of 14 companies had been nominated. The representative of Russia had the longest journey out of the eight companies arrived. But his company was already nominated twice and could receive the award in the area flat roof. Much shorter was the journey for the winner in pitched roof. Here a company from the Netherlands won. The winners in façade from Austria and in metal from Germany were not present, but representatives from the relevant federation accepted the awards. All nominees received certificates and metal plates to inform about their success also on the company buildings."
